Applications have different purpose, only some tables are in common, but not those with year and month, app A has some main tables(fields : ...,month,year.) and app B other(fields : ...,month,year.).So only a part of structure is the same(month, year),and I decided to use a single SP for both.

so what does prevent app. A from doing "select ... from X" and app. B
from doing "select ... from Y"?
