Subject RE: [firebird-support] DDL Question
Author Paul Hope
We make extensive changes to live SuperServer databases without any problems
(apart from the occasional challenge with a foreign key) and have been doing
so for many year in IB and now FB1.5. It may be relevant that our apps tend
to spread the transactions amongst a high number of functions so each is not
intensively used.

However we discovered that this was not possible in Classic Server since
everything a user touches is locked until they log out.
