Pete reported that his application uses IBX v6.5 components.

You have stated that your applications use IBX v7.08.

It is possible that the reason that your applications work and his don't
is due to the difference in the IBX version.


Further, since he is able to successfully open the database using
Database Workbench, the problem lies in his application (I suspect IBX)
and not in the database engine/FB.
