Never mind. I found it. The installer had left the Firebird Service
pointing to the 1.5.3 directory while the guardian was properly
changed to point to the 2.0.1 directory. The was the only thing I
hadn't checked.
I did instsvc r followed by instsvc i -g and everything was fixed.
