Well, I'm still using 2.4.19 on many old systems, but I moved them from
FB 1.0 to 1.5.3. I skipped 1.5.0, 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 just because there
were problems reported on mailing lists. 1.5.3 was the first one that
seemed stable from the start. I suggest you to upgrade ASAP, using 1.5.1
seems not much better to me than using 0.9.4 or InterBase 6.0.
