Hi Yusuf
I'm using Task Scheduler on windows servers and Cron on Linux servers , to
run a bat file.
Depending on wich FB version are used you can make back-up with gbak (FB
1.X) or nbackup (FB2.X - incremental backup).
Same way u can use third part tools (IBBR - BRTools, FIBS-Firebird/Interbase
Backup Service, etc), services that run a backup task.
Regards,
Paul

Subject: [firebird-support] Schedule a backup
Hi,
Is it possible to schedule a backup every hour while application is
running?
I mean users still connected to db and doing their work.
If yes, how?
Thanks in advance
With kindest regards
yc
