I think it can be backup with firebird 2 and restore to firebird 2 for
firebird 1,5 datatabase.

because firebird 2 can read firebird 1,5 database

Back-up with 1.5 gbak
uninstall FB 1.5
install FB 2.0.1
restore the back-up with 2.0 gbak
rinse and repeat
