Falko,
Excuse-me, I have mispelled the program to install the client !
it's instclient , instsvc is for the firebird service.
so to install in system32
instclient i g
and to query which gds32 version
instclient q g
and you get :
Installed GDS32.DLL version : 6.3.4.4910 (shared DLL count 2)
for fbclient version
instclient q f
Installed FBCLIENT.DLL version : 1.5.4.4910 (shared DLL count 1)
