Please describe your problem better, just telling us that using Firebird
2.0 with the BDE is slow is far too vague. We could simply answer:
'Select * from rdb$database is fast for me with the BDE and Firebird
2.0, so you do not have any problem'. Exactly what is slow? If it is a
particular query, then tell us index statistics, plan and some
information about your tables. If things gets slower as time passes,
please tell us the index statistics.
