Nobody mentioned that there *are* other site-specific files you need
to take copies of and copy over the ones in the newly installed
server: firebird.conf, aliases.conf and security.fdb. (The latter
is a database so, again, you'll want to take a gbak backup of that
and restore on the new server if there are any doubts about alignment.)
You should also check with the vendor whether they have any .ini
files and/or Registry settings that their software might have
installed on the server.
