While my firm does use one admin tool, I think it is safe to say that
you would do well if you choose either of the 2 popular commercial
tools: IBExpert and Database Workbench -- they have "personal" versions
for little or no cost, as well as full-versions.
There are also some free tools which are also available.
But, in any case, you really need to try them for yourself. Each tool
has it's strengths and weaknesses, and can have different ways of
approaching the problem/issues which face Admins.
Ultimately, you need to choose the one which best fits how you think of
the 'problems'. What I or anyone else likes isn't really the issue.
