Dear all
I have a mysterious problem with one database. One customer has 2 identical
databases on different branches.
We have problem with one branch only! while the database becomes extremely
slow! The fbserver occupies almost the all cpu sources and in general it is
very slow. On the other side, the other branch has no problem at all and it
has 3 times more movements tharn the "problematic" branch. Note that this is
happening on 9mb (megabytes no gigabytes) file size of database.
I am almost sure that this problem is not firebird's or application's, but I
think that something confuses the firebird or the database (in general).
I downloaded the firebird database file, (9mb) and it is extremely slow on
my pc also. So, it is not case of my customer's computer. Something is
registering with wrong way over there.
I think Raid software is installed for mirroring. Can be this problem??? Any
other suggestions?
Regards
Dennis
