Guys, one question.



About this topic, I have a field numeric (12,7). When I ask its value with
"select" in the grid I see the value 0,0000000 (7 decimal zeros). In real
the value equals to 0 (zero). Why it returns the 7 decimals zeros? In
general some records are returned with many zeros at the end and some other
records without zeros, even integer on the same field.



Any suggestions?

I found more about this problem. The error occurred when it tries to post a
value to numeric(15,7) field with value i.e.: 0,0000000 If I try to post the
value 0,000000 (one zero less, total 6 decimals) there is no problem.

Any suggestions?

I have a firebird database that worked well, until I changed the decimal
separator from [.] to [,] from regional settings of the system.

Since this change, when I do an edit and post, on port I took the error
message: Access violation at address 0045CDD0 in module
'Project_simple_opening_a_table.exe'. Read of address 00000000.

I created a new project that does only action, edit and post and the access
violation appeared again.

If change the decimal separator back to [.] the application works perfect.

This problem occurred both on vista and on xp pro.

Any suggestions?
