Exactly. Martin Knappe's 'martin' user name won't work on the new server unless the user 'martin' there has the same password. So, if they are different people both using the user name, then it needs sorting out, *before* porting the database.

It's the same problem, except here the authentication database doesn't enter the picture. User 'martin' has all of user martin's privileges.
