Yes I think so, however the DBA does not think so.

There were no event logs on the windows server to indicate that.
However I beleive Firebird is smart enough to not write a pointer
page if that page would cause out of disk space errors in
the operating system. Thus Firebird corrupted itself instead.

When I looked at the server the Temp space available was under
30GB which for a 250GB database I would not think that was enough.

We do not know how much is enough though, there does not seem to
be anything written on it.

DBSERVER (Server) Mon Oct 08 13:22:30 2007
Database: E:\DATA\THEDATA.GDB
internal gds software consistency check (pointer page vanished from
DPM_next (249), file: dpm.cpp line: 1609)

We will do whatever we can, including contacting ibfirstaid.

Kind Regards,
