Well, I'm interested in 1.5.3 or higher because it's a stable release that I use in a commercial product of mine and I spent time (with Alex Peshkov) to port it to AIX.
As far as I know, FB 2.0 is not yet ported to AIX and it's also a quite new release so I'm not very confident in making it the core database engine of my solution until I'm really sure it's very stable.
I think I will migrate from 1.5.3 to 2.0 (or higher) in 4 to 6 months. This way, I'll have more
feedback on FB 2 stability and this will also give me some time to port it to AIX...
