I agree with you. Auto Stat is feature, which, we "must have".
I have post also in devel list (as LacaK) link to Microsoft web site
(as auto stats work in SQL Server).
I am not aware of Firebird internals, so I can not get a 'real'
solution.
I hope, that FB developers are conscious of this problem and will
find solution (in near future ? :-)).
If there is feature request in tracker, we can vote for, to adjust
priority :-)
(but I am not able find such item in feature request tracker ... I
post to devel-list question about such feature request, but my post
is 'invisible' ... hold by administrator)
