either case, a localhost loopback is your best/only option.

First off, sorry - I accidentally sent a content-less message a moment ago while trying to edit down the quoting...

Second, sorry again - I want to go a little off-topic. This reminded me of something that came up in a different thread a couple of weeks ago: second and subsequent connections to a localhost server being denied. The version, I believe, was 2.0, but I don't remember whether it was Classic or Superserver. The question I wanted to ask at that time was: what if your HOSTS file contains multiple aliases for 127.0.0.1? Is the limitation enforced on an IP-address basis, or on a server-name basis? (Or does the server simply say "I don't care who you are or how you're calling me - I'm busy already"?)

I meant to ask back when it was apropos - sorry for the timing.
