Borland's marketing dept tried that strategy for years without success.
Do you remember this phrase?

EMBED - DEPLOY - RELAX.

It's still at my site. :-)

They positioned IB as an embedded db and hence corporate customers
thought it was a toy unable to handle concurrent load.
