There is absolutely no need for a firebird database file to be
accessible by anyone besides the firebird server. This protection is
easy to implement, control and much better than a password-based
encryption. Does MS-SQL Server have Database File encryption? Does
Oracle have it? It's pointless for a real SQL Database.
