Subject Re: [firebird-support] From IB 7.5 to FB 1.5.3

Thanks Ann,. I will try that also.

What I can say what we have somehow decided to do is to take a standard
IB 5.6 database. Update it to the structure of the IB 7.5 database and then
Then backup and restore to FB and then
Pump all the data over from the 7.5 database to the FB.

WE have tried this and it works. Does take some time, But I must admit I
feel better doing it , as I then know that ALL data written by the database
was done via FB and not IB

Thanks for all your help and have a nice day

Johannes
