It is pretty impossible to tell what you did wrong without knowing what
you did. As a minimum, tell exactly the version of Firebird and
operating system, how you installed Firebird (including the name of the
installer, e.g. trying to use linux binaries on Windows probably doesn't
work) and what you've done to try to find it after installing it.
