Just a thought. Was Firebird installed on the machine locally, or over the
network? I'm positive I saw a post somewhere a couple of days ago that
said certain issues had been resolved after installing Firebird locally,
not over the network with Terminal Services.

Typically, I can't find the article now - but this one is a good install
walkthrough for Windows 2003
