As Boguslaw already was writing, you can go to www.h-k-software.de and
download IBExpert personal version. This is for free. They have a
professional/full version which of course has more options.
But the personal version is enough for a start.

And it can already auto-generate a data-dictionary in HTML-Format.

It will be good, of course, if you make good use of the DESCRIBE
commands, or just type the descriptions into the description fields
with IBExpert.

Information about all objects in Firebird is stored in system-tables.
You can query those system-tables if you have the appropriate rights.

That way you can very easily create your own documentation-robots.

I have a bunch of StoredProcs which are delivering
database-descriptions to Crystal Reports, for example.
