Ann,
This is a script that has not changed in months, and has run
successfully before.
As far as the server not running - the first part of the script, run
on the same machine against a database on the machine, creates the
backup file. So it seems the server is responding. I can also access
the database from another machine, as well as thru an ODBC connection
from IIS on the same machine.
I'm going to drop back and punt. I'll reboot the machine and let you
know what happens.
