This is what threw me initially, never thought about the 64kb limit as the
size of the stored proc, to which this query belongs is relatively small.

Yes! Now that ive stopped and looked :-)

Sizes are:

BIGINT x 4
TIMESTAMP x 2
VARCHAR(1) x 1
VARCHAR(15) x 1
VARCHAR(100) x 1
VARCHAR(2500) x 1
VARCHAR(32000) x 1

All joins are BIGINT, in total 12. But is that big enough to break the
limit?
