Clarification, Virtual Mem size goes up to about 320MB not 140MB,
but still within safe limits.


I tried running fbserver.exe -a through the debugger, it did not
crash!

I am now trying to run fbserver.exe -a without the debugger.

When it was crashing i was running Firebird as a Service.

could this have something to do with it?

also, when running firebird.exe -a (not service) Firebird is
not logging to firebird.log. why?

any ideas?
