I have a program that duplicates some part of my database and do it sentece by sentence and it is very slow it last more than five hours

You cannot de-activate transactions.

But ... it's not clear if you're doing 1 transaction per record
inserted, or if you're doing "batches" of, for example, 10000
records per transaction.

What are you doing?

Either way, doing batches will be quicker.
