How did you do the install? What packages did you choose? We want to
install only the absolute minimum to run Firebird.

I am running 1.53 Classic on Suse Enterprise 9. The specific distro I
am using is the one that comes with Novel Open Enterprise Server. It is
running fine without any problems.
