Hi,

"operating system directive semget failed" means that it was not possible to
get a semaphore resource.

Have a look at the command ipcs and related ones.

I do not know why this message comes. May be a semaphore to be created always
exists. Stop the firebird-server, save your database and have a look to the
output from ipcs -s. The command ipcrm can be used to delete resources.
