hello, how are you. first all, happy xmas!
i have mydb.fdb file (created with fb2 superserver
version). the server is down.
now i am trying to connect to that file via
the fbembed.dll
(i am using EMS sql manager 2005).
when i test the connection it is ok, but when i
try to open the db, it says that there is not
security file defined...
my question are:
1) does the embedded version manage security2.fdb ?
2) does it need it?
3) if so, can i copy the same file of the superserver?
4) if not, what is the problem and what do i have to
do to fix it ?
thanks in advance
j.-
