1.5.2 and 1.5.3 are sub-releases of the same version. 1.5.3 of
course is later and contains bug-fixes not present in 1.5.2. It
seems very unfriendly that the Fyracle software would overwrite your
existing Firebird installation with a now very old subrelease.

Fyracle is a commercial, third-party product. It has its own
newsgroup. This sounds like a question for
