Reset the statistics on every table. That's what bit me, I had
recreated the database tables and primary keys with DDL scripts, and
then pumped the data over. Because of that the calculated selectivity
of the primary keys were all zero, and none of them were ever used in
queries.

Subject: [firebird-support] FB 2.0 / FB1.5 optimizer difference

Hello,

I carefully converted a long time running a FB1.5 application to FB2.0,
took care of the differences of the 'not in' instances. But I experience
just a few queries execute faster, but most execute are 2 to 40 times
slower. Most even showing the same plans as FB1.5. Database
characteristics the same. Database only about 500M in size.
What else can I present, do or to assist ?

Best Regards
Hans
