What's that boat? I got stuck trying to work out what it was...could it be that you are using a programming interface that "requires" a username and password? If so, you'll need to work around that, presumably by tying in the user login to whatever internal securityyou have implemented.






No, nothing like that - just that I'm using the embedded server primarily because of the ease of distribution. All I meant by "in the same boat" was that, if I need to make separate arrangements regarding security2.fdb, I'd like to know about it now, before I start rolling out the update. And I'm happy to hear that I don't need to.
