Well there's always Ibexpert, http://www.ibexpert.com which works fine imo;

yes it's a commercial product but you can always start with the free version
and see if you like it, or the trial version.

Subject: [firebird-support] Visual design tools?

Does anybody know some good design tools for use with FB 2.0? (I know
they're a crutch, but I sorta need a crutch at the moment - my
visual-abstraction skillz have been dulled by too much turkey.)

I tried IBEasy+, and it LOOKS great - but from ADO, I can't see any of
the tables I've created, only IBEasy's system-generated tables. (In
other words, the recordset returned by adSchemaTables contains
RDB$ROLES, IBE$FORMS, etc. - but not "CARRIER", "PROTOCOL", or any of
my other tables.) Strangely, FlameRobin shows ALL tables just fine.

The workaround that I found was to build my database in IBE, then
generate the SQL script for it (editing out the bits that create
IBEasy's own tables), scrap the database and build a new one (in
FlameRobin) from the script. It seems a bit... primitive.

I know this isn't a support forum for IBEasy - I should have left all
of that stuff out - my real question is, what tool (if any) do you
guys recommend?
I'm probably asking in the wrong group, but I thought I'd try here first.

I'm using:
FB 2.0 (embedded server)
VB6
ADO 2.8
Firebird/InterBase(r) driver

Thanks!
