Well, you obviously cannot recompile Kylix yourself, and IBC and IBA are
built for FB1.x. FlameRobin will work for administration, but you need
to recompile it as well (this will be fixed when IBPP 3.0 is released
and we build FlameRobin against it).

Your best option is to try and make a symlink libfbclient.so.1 pointing
to libfbclient.so.2. You might also need to create symlink libgds.so
pointing to one of those as well. Easiest way to find out what exactly
is needed is to run ldd, just like I wrote in previos message.

What is the output of "ldd" for your executable?
