The InterBase documentation still lists:
UPDATE
ALL
REFERENCE
SELECT
DELETE
MEMBER OF (for roles)
INSERT
As a CHAR(6).
I'm pretty sure I have seen this behaviour, in that you had to use:
REVOKE ALL ... FROM ...
And then re-grant separate privileges.
Hmm...
Anyone with IB 5.6 cares to try? :)
