You should read the release notes, particularly the part that says not
to post FB 2 beta questions to the Firebird Support list.

That exception is raised to prevent you potentially shooting yourself
in the foot. It is possible that someone shot themselves in the foot
between your beta and release candidate you are *** testing firebird
*** with, and that development was done to prevent you suffering the
same fate.
