Well, if I would have had a little better instinct at the start of the
project, I would have used user defined names. But I didn't ever want
to have to work with index names and plans altogether, but as always
in life, at some point reality reaches you and tells you that you have
to care about things you never thought of...

So there's no possibility to manipulate the RDB$ system tables to
rename indices?
