Firebird has command-line parameters. Read the document
installation_readme.txt in your Firebird doc directory.

For InterBase - probably. No-one has touched IB 6 for years.

You can block the prompt altogether and just run the install silently.

Nope, it's fine to ask it here.

It's probably an opportune time to draw your attention to the \doc
directory...don't ignore the release notes or the Quick Start Guide.
