priority, and putting urgent in the subject line is just as bad.
Of course it is important to you or you would not have bothered
posting it. I am not suggesting that it is not important. But then
again pretty much EVERY problem that is posted here is urgent to the
poster unless otherwise said.
rebuilding index? Presumably queries are running too slow on a
production machine.
viewing transactions? Someone is unable to update a record and they
need an explanation as to why.
Nulls in not null columns? Well that prevents a backup from being
restorable.
There are several others on this page. In any case, very few threads
go unanswered for more than a few hours, the delay just depends on who
around the world happens to be awake. Every message gets emailed to a
lot of people, and they may not find it so urgent.
If it is truly urgent to the point of being more important than the
other messages in this list, then consider the buying paid support
provided by companies such as IBPhoenix.
