I think it is a RAM-related problem.
Did your hardware support guys check RAM under extreme load withe
memtest or testmem tools (Microsoft also released some sort of such
testing tool)?
You may check your backup with IBBackupSurgeon trial and take a look on
its log - if there are no errors, your backup is safe and problem is
outside.
