Close your database (check if connected is false in Object Inspector from
Delphi) and try after that to compile!

Subject: [firebird-support] interbase & Firebird on 1 machine - unavailable
database

Hi
I have just followed the instructions for "running interbase and firebird
together" and installed them both on my laptop with the IB/FB server
toggler.
I can successfully access interbase databases through IBConsole and Firebird
through IBOConsole.

My problem is when I open up my source code or try to compile it using
Delphi 7 I get an error message "Unavailable Database". It works OK in
Firebird environment, but not Interbase.
(using Interbase 6 and Firebird 1.5.3). I have tried adding / removing
gds32.dll from various folders, but to no avail.

Any suggestions much appreciated

Geoff
