Hi Bruce,

I've never tried Firebird on XServer before but I'm using Firebird on
OSX 10.3/10.4. Both worked well. Perhaps you might need to recompile it
for XServer. I've recompiled Firebird 1.5.2 for OSX using information
from the following page,
