AFAIR, some people reported in the list that setting CPUAffinity to a
single "processor" for HT didn't help, but probably it was a specific
configuration (hardware + software)...
You should look at ClassicServer in case of performance problems with
SuperServer (HT enabled, CPUAFfinity set) and if your [business]
requirements allow that.
