If you are referring to the client/server installation instructions, then no
I haven't looked at that. I am discussing with a client the possible setups
with Firebird, and one of the reasons firebird was chosen (by the client),
was because it had an embedded version which looked like it satisfied their
requirements, and I'm trying to get enough info to explain to them what
would be the more ideal interaction with the DB.

The normal client install is about as simple as it gets.
