did you install firebird on this machine? Or the libfbembed.so file? If
so, check, wether it is in the library search path. If not, install
firebird.

Firebird is usually installed under /opt/firebird. Check if
/opt/firebird/lib is in /etc/ld.so.conf. If it is not there -> add the
line and run ldconfig.
