Well the next thing would be
telnet localhost 3050
This will either give an error - or a blank screen
If a blank screen, then hitting return a couple of times will give
"Connection to host lost"
If the XP firewall setting have changed you should get an error message,
but since you can connect with the Machine IP this is probably not the case.
