I installed SS in my office server to try this stuff about events. I
changed 'RemoteAuxPort' to 3060. Then i did several tests to see if
events were working, and just one doesn´t worked. I'm running the test
application from my home.
Test 1:
I changed my office firewall to forward incoming traffic on port 3050
and 3060 to the same ports on the FB server. I runned the test
application, connecting direct to my office IP address. It worked.
For the next tests, i disabled the port forward in my office firewall.
Test 2:
I connected to my office server via Putty (SSH), and created 2 tunnels
between the server ports 3050 and 3060 and my home computer, using the
same ports locally (note this is the same way zebedee works). I runned
the test application, connecting to 127.0.0.1/3050:test_db. It worked
also.
Test 3:
I connected to my office server via Putty (SSH), and created 2 tunnels
between the server ports 3050 and 3060 and my home computer, using the
local ports 3051 and 3061 respectivelly (maybe your zebedee is using
different ports between the servers?). I runned the test application,
connecting to 127.0.0.1/3051:test_db. It doesn´t worked, because the
FB client knows it have to connect to port 3060 to receive events, but
my tunnel was using port 3061. So, at least for the event port, when
you are using a tunnel, you have to use the same port as the
'RemoteAuxPort' configure in the FB server.
Conclusion:
To use zebedee, you have to estabilish 2 zebedee conections to your
server. One to the port 3050, the other to the port configured in
'RemoteAuxPort'. The local port, at least for the second connection,
need to be the same as the 'RemoteAuxPort'. It makes some time i don´t
use zebedee, so i can´t give some examples. Have you tried this
configuration?

Fabiano.
