Or... the simplest solution... OpenKylix (or if you take the pay route,
Kylix 3). It is, more or less, source code compatible with delphi. Kylix
itself isn't that great of a platform for development of linux
applications, but for compiling .so libraries, it works just fine.

The open version is free too.
